Fight Recap
Maverick is a super solid vertical drum spinner. I installed the steel wedge for this fight because I knew that I needed a stronger structure up front to deal with weapon to weapon hits. Out of the gate, I was still getting used to Sunset’s speed in the box, but I was able to evade a few bad hits. Eventually, Maverick hit the weak corner of my frame and obliterated it. Another impact folded my bellypan which caused ground clearance issues on one side. I tapped out before the killing blow so I don’t have to repair quite as much later. Result: Loss via Tap Out
